Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Grabify iPhone app and the grabify.app website collect, why, who helps us process it, and how you can get it deleted. We don't sell your personal information, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Who we are
Grabify is provided by Sunnyside International Enterprise LLC, 1605 Bay Rd., Miami Beach, FL 33139, United States ("we", "us"). For privacy questions or requests, email grabifyrecipes@gmail.com.
What we collect and why

What we don't collect
The app doesn't access your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo library, and it contains no advertising or third-party analytics software. We don't use your advertising identifier.
How we use AI
To turn a post into a recipe, we send the public content fetched from the link (and, for some videos, the video's audio for transcription) to OpenAI. OpenAI doesn't receive your name or email address. Under OpenAI's API terms, this data is not used to train OpenAI's models by default.
Shared import cache
So the same public post isn't fetched over and over, a recipe created from a link may be reused for up to 30 days when anyone imports that same link. Only the public content and the resulting recipe are reused; who imported it is never shown to anyone else.
Who processes your information
We share information only with the providers that run parts of Grabify for us, and only what each one needs:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy keeps applying to your information.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)
- Providing the service you asked for: your account, saved content, imports and support.
- Legitimate interests: keeping Grabify secure, preventing abuse, fixing failed imports and the shared import cache.
- Legal obligations: responding to lawful requests.
How long we keep it
- Account information, saved content, import history and usage counts: until you delete your account.
- Backups and server logs: until they expire on our providers' regular schedules.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time: open Profile and tap Delete Account. You can also ask us by email. See Delete your account for details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
- Correct it
- Delete it
- Object to or restrict how we use it
- Receive it in a portable format (you can also export your recipes from Settings in the app)
- Withdraw any consent you gave
- Complain to your local data protection authority
California residents: you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To use any of these rights, email grabifyrecipes@gmail.com from the address on your account. We'll reply within one month (45 days for California requests).
Where your information is processed
Our providers store and process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses offered by those providers.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to the providers listed above. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Grabify is not directed at children, and you must be at least 13 to use it. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. For significant changes, we'll also tell you in the app or by email.
